Messages from the CEO

January 7, 2021

Like most of the world, I am appalled by the violence that took place in the United States Capitol yesterday.

Not only were the actions reprehensible and threaten our democracy, they continue to highlight the ugly underbelly of America ― racism, hate, and dishonesty.
Last night, as I watched the news in disbelief, I allowed myself a brief moment to sit in sadness. Today however, I woke up ready for action.

I am more energized than ever to fight for education. As evidenced yesterday, an educated citizenry is necessary for democracy and freedom to prosper.

I hope you will join me and the entire NACAC community as we rededicate ourselves to the cause that can change the course of a nation ― equal educational opportunity for all.
